Thank you very much to our Nominating Committee, Marie and Katy for all you did in organizing our new Slate of Officers.

The WPPA Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 15th from 7-9pm at Lady Star of the Sea Church.  We need everyone to attend, we will be voting on:

• Budget
• New Executive Board
• Special Assessment

If you have any pictures you would like to post of our beach before, during, or after hurricane/tropical storm Irene, feel free to post them here or email them to me.

There will be a Happy Hour at the beach every Friday throughout the summer beginning at 7pm.  As usual, bring your own beverage and an appetizer to share if you choose.

If a private party is reserved, we’ll have to skip that Friday. For example, there is a private party on July 22^nd, so no happy hour that day.

Check the Calendar Tab on our beach website to make sure a private party isn’t scheduled.  Please spread the word to your neighbors who don’t check e-mail or the website often.

• Beach Happy Hour is today, Friday July 1st at 7pm, bring your own beverage and an appetizer to share. Spread the word, especially to those who may not check the website.
• The updated WPPA Beach phone directory is ready and will be distributed soon, hopefully by Friday, July 1st.
• Check out the new and improved calendar tab on the WPPA Beach website! We will use this calender to schedule association meetings, beach events such as happy hours, kids activities, and when a member reserves the beach for their own event.
